Israel is experiencing a comparatively high voter turnout in its parliamentary elections. By midday, 31.5 percent of eligible voters had cast their ballots, according to the Central Election Commission, an increase from 28.4 percent at the same time during the 2022 elections. This midday turnout level is the highest since 1973. The Israeli military also reported significant participation, with 30 percent of soldiers having voted by 10 a.m., up from 25.7 percent four years ago. The IDF began voting a week prior to election day, establishing 850 polling stations on military bases both within Israel and abroad.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged citizens to vote, casting his ballot with his wife Sara in Jerusalem and appealing to the public to participate. Meanwhile, the "Yashar" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, filed an urgent complaint with the Central Election Commission. The party alleged that ballots bearing their name were removed, damaged, or turned over in various locations, suggesting a coordinated effort to disrupt the democratic process. "Whoever tries to steal ballots, tries to steal the election," Yashar stated, demanding the commission intervene, increase security, and replace missing ballots.

The Central Election Commission, however, stated that there is no evidence of systematic manipulation, despite complaints from multiple parties. The commission indicated that individual reports are being investigated. Other parties, including those led by Naftali Bennett, Ofer Winter, Avigdor Lieberman, Mansour Abbas, and Yoaz Hendel, also reported alleged irregularities.

Separately, police arrested three Bedouin men in the Negev region on suspicion of attempting to bribe voters with tens of thousands of shekels to vote for Mansour Abbas's Arab party, Ra'am. Investigators reportedly found cash and other evidence during searches of their homes.

President Isaac Herzog called the election a "true festival of democracy," urging Israelis to exercise their democratic rights and participate. He emphasized that political differences should not overshadow the shared responsibility for the country and that the election is an opportunity to express national unity.
