Singer Static has stated he will not reveal his voting choice in the current Knesset elections, pushing back against a trend of celebrities publicly declaring their political preferences. In a video posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday, while on his way to vote, Static addressed his followers, noting that many people were asking about his vote.

He explained his decision by referencing the privacy afforded by the voting booth's curtain, stating, "I think there's a reason there's a curtain in the polling station." Static added that he does not possess advanced degrees in political science or government and democracy, asserting that his opinion is worth no more than anyone else's. Therefore, he does not wish to influence his followers' decisions.

Static concluded by emphasizing the importance of individuals making their own informed choices without external influence. He urged his followers to vote, calling it the most crucial action. The elections for the 26th Knesset are taking place today, amidst a tense atmosphere surrounding what are described as particularly consequential elections.
