Singer's Brother Sued for Half a Million Shekels After Wedding Brawl

Gal Adam, brother of Israeli singer Omer Adam, is facing a NIS 500,000 lawsuit for allegedly assaulting a guest at a wedding. The guest, Elhanan Yair, claims he was punched and kicked by a group led by Gal Adam after requesting a photo. Yair's lawyer, Tamir Weitzman, sent a stern warning letter demanding the compensation, threatening legal and criminal action if a settlement is not reached within 14 days. The incident reportedly occurred after Yair was refused a photo with Gal Adam and subsequently pushed. He alleges he was then attacked by a group including Adam, dragged to the kitchen area, and further assaulted, with Adam described as taking the "main part in the lynching." The letter also notes threats from other guests to wait for Yair outside with weapons. Yair claims to have sustained physical injuries and psychological distress requiring treatment. His legal team has requested the venue preserve all security footage and has identified over ten eyewitnesses. Former "Big Brother" star Tom Haimov commented on the incident, questioning its plausibility. The wedding was for Elad Tzofani, another former "Big Brother" contestant. This is not the first reported violent incident involving Gal and Roi Adam at Tzofani's wedding, with previous reports of broken glasses and an injured guest requiring hospitalization. Omer Adam reportedly canceled his attendance due to the earlier altercation.
