Nina Dance Show to Premiere in Israel in October 2026

The visually striking and emotionally charged dance production "NINA," created by Eastern Europe's PRJCT 360 dance company, is set to have its Israeli premiere from October 28 to November 2, 2026, with performances scheduled in Haifa, Be'er Sheva, Ashdod, and Tel Aviv. The show, which requires no words to convey its narrative, tells the story of Nina's journey through love, freedom, and the allure of the stage.

Originally conceived by producer and creative director, the project aimed to unite top dancers from Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Italy. This vision evolved into a full theater company where each performer possesses a distinct character and movement style. The production involved an extensive selection process, training seminars, and rehearsal programs, with professional athletes contributing to the dancers' physical conditioning.

"NINA" features a complex stage design by Sergey Koltsov, including a two-story structure with internal labyrinths, massive LED screens displaying custom video content, and dynamic lighting that transforms the set into various environments like a prison, a wedding, or a cabaret. The costumes, by VSV Design, are inspired by the "Great Gatsby" aesthetic.

Betina Dimitrova stars as Nina, supported by a cast including Vasil Zolumov, Victoria Yordanova, Svetoslav Slavkov, and Petra Nedyalkova, who perform as a cohesive ensemble.

Following a successful premiere in Sofia and subsequent international tours in Turkey, Macedonia, the Baltics, and France, "NINA" received the Best Dance Show 2023 award from the Association of Choreographers for its aesthetic integrity and artistic honesty.
