An investigation by 'Ad Kan' alleges close ties between senior Hadash party officials and leaders of Palestinian terror groups, the DFLP and PFLP. A key event cited is a July 2026 conference in Ramallah attended by MK Aida Touma-Sliman and DFLP official Ramzi Rabah. The DFLP has a history of attacks, including the 1974 Ma'alot massacre. 'Ad Kan' claims these meetings reveal a long-standing, close relationship between the parties, which they deem "unthinkable" given Hadash's Knesset representation.

  • Hadash party officials allegedly have close, long-standing ties with leaders of terror groups DFLP and PFLP.
  • MK Aida Touma-Sliman attended a 2026 Ramallah conference with DFLP official Ramzi Rabah.
  • The DFLP was involved in the 1974 Ma'alot school massacre and the October 7th attacks.
  • 'Ad Kan' CEO Avichai Shorshan called the alleged connections "unthinkable."
  • The investigation claims a "complete and close relationship" between the groups.

An investigation by the 'Ad Kan' organization alleges close and long-standing ties between senior officials of the Hadash party and representatives of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), both designated as terror organizations by Israel. Avichai Shorshan, CEO of 'Ad Kan', presented findings on a podcast detailing alleged meetings between the parties.

One prominent incident cited occurred in July 2026 at a conference in Ramallah attended by Hadash Member of Knesset Aida Touma-Sliman. Also present was Ramzi Rabah, a member of the DFLP's Political Bureau. The conference, organized by the Palestinian Women's Association, focused on the situation of Arab citizens of Israel during the war, and was documented by the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The DFLP, founded in 1969, is a Marxist organization whose founder, Nayef Hawatmeh, led it during the 1974 Ma'alot school massacre. Hawatmeh himself met with a Hadash delegation in 2010, which included figures like Mohammed Barakeh, Afo Agbaria, Ayman Odeh, and Ofer Cassif. Hawatmeh also reportedly met with former Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah multiple times.

Shorshan stated that the investigation reveals a "complete and close relationship" between Hadash officials and senior figures in both the DFLP and PFLP. He highlighted that while attending a conference alongside a terror group representative is not necessarily a criminal offense, the alleged pattern of interaction is concerning, especially given Hadash's secular, socialist, and communist-aligned identity, which contrasts with the Marxist roots of the DFLP and PFLP.

Podcast host Gadi Taub drew parallels to other Arab parties, mentioning Ra'am Chairman Mansour Abbas's past ideological ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. However, Taub argued that the alleged Hadash connections are more severe because they involve active terror organizations. Shorshan described the situation as "unthinkable," questioning the discrepancy between Hadash representatives serving in the Knesset and their documented participation in meetings with terror group leaders.
