A day before elections, businessman Yissachar Knoll met with Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, a prominent leader in the Haredi community, to discuss issues relevant to modern Haredi Jews. The meeting, organized by the 'Amilim' campaign aimed at mobilizing Haredi voters for the 'Gimmel' party, addressed concerns within the Yahadut HaTorah party.

Rabbi Hirsch clarified his opposition to the state-religious education model (Mamach), stating that the intention behind its establishment was to gradually alter the identity of Haredi students, not to oppose quality education itself. He acknowledged the legitimate need for diverse educational frameworks for modern Haredi families but emphasized that the correct approach would have been to strengthen and expand the independent Haredi education system to meet all families' needs.

During the meeting, Rabbi Hirsch also delivered a lengthy speech on the obligation to vote for the Haredi party. He pledged to approach Knesset members from Degel HaTorah and the party's leadership to find ways to assist and address educational matters and other issues concerning Haredi individuals who work for a living while fearing God.
