Days before the upcoming elections, prominent Sephardic-Haredi Rabbi Tzion Buaaron, a former member of the Grand Rabbinical Court, issued a signed letter urging his students to vote for the Noam party, led by MK Avi Maoz. He also encouraged them to actively support the party's success.

Rabbi Moshe Tzadka, head of the Porat Yosef Yeshiva, also offered his blessing to the Noam party's representatives, commending their important work. "I bless you with success, you are doing important things, and whoever truly acts for the sake of Heaven, I certainly strengthen him, and may the pleasantness of the Lord be upon you," Rabbi Tzadka told the party representatives.

Rabbi Buaaron's endorsement follows similar support from other rabbis and rebbes within the Haredi community for MK Maoz. Rabbi David Cohen, son-in-law of the late Rabbi Meir Mazuz, has also explicitly backed the party and called for efforts to ensure its electoral success. According to the party, additional rabbis and rebbes have expressed support for Maoz's activities aimed at strengthening Torah study and Judaism in Israel.

Maoz's recent parliamentary term focused on issues concerning the Haredi public and yeshiva students, particularly regarding military conscription. Throughout his tenure in the Knesset, Maoz emphasized his commitment to preserving the status of yeshiva students and bolstering the presence of Judaism in public life.

In parallel with the rabbinical endorsements, the Noam party released internal poll data from a survey conducted last week by the Smith Institute. The poll indicates that 2.7% of respondents have already decided to vote for the party, with an additional 6% seriously considering it. The party claims this 2.7% figure reflects a consistent upward trend over several weeks. Details regarding the poll's sample size or margin of error were not provided.
