Carvin Andrade, who was Maccabi Tel Aviv's most expensive signing last year at 1.8 million euros, is reportedly struggling in his loan spell with Brazilian club Sporting Recife. Andrade, a player from Venezuela, was acquired by Maccabi Tel Aviv but had difficulty adapting to Israel, influenced by Operation "Protective Edge." He was subsequently loaned to Sporting Recife.

Although Andrade started his first match for Recife shortly before the Israeli transfer window closed, he has since become a reserve player. He was not included in the squad for the team's recent 2-1 victory over Sampaio Corrêa from the second division of the Brazilian league. Prior to that, he only played seven minutes in a loss to Fortaleza. His team currently sits in eighth place in the league standings.

Brazilian sports outlet Bastidores do Sport reported that Andrade has faced continuous criticism, with observations that "he tried some good moves, but failed to be a significant player." Sporting Recife has an option to purchase 60% of his contract for 2 million euros, valuing him at 3.3 million euros. However, current valuations from various websites place his worth at 1.3 million euros, a 60% decrease in value.

Andrade's average rating on SofaScore in Brazil is 6.42, compared to 6.7 in the Israeli Premier League. Sporting Recife is scheduled to play Botafogo SP in their next match.
