  • Moshe Feiglin said Gadi Eisenkot could be Prime Minister under one condition.
  • Feiglin also claimed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not a right-wing figure.
  • Feiglin's remarks were made during failed negotiations with Yaron Zelekha.
  • Feiglin later formed a technical alliance with Bezalel Smotrich.
  • Feiglin previously criticized Netanyahu's response to the October 7th massacre.

Two days before the elections, Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut Party, revealed during political negotiations that he does not rule out the possibility of Gadi Eisenkot serving as the next Prime Minister. Feiglin also claimed during these talks that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not a right-wing figure.

These statements were made during negotiations between Feiglin and Yaron Zelekha, chairman of the Economic Party, in an attempt to form a joint electoral list. The discussions did not lead to an agreement, and shortly thereafter, Feiglin signed a technical alliance agreement with Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the Religious Zionism Party.

The report follows Feiglin's sharp public criticism of Netanyahu. In a television interview approximately a week prior, Feiglin stated that the Prime Minister should have resigned following the October 7th massacre. However, he also clarified that he is part of the "Netanyahu bloc" and does not retract his criticism.
