Israeli Police Seek Public Help Locating Missing Teen for Third Time

Israeli Police have released the photo and details of 17-year-old Shmuel Rahamim Tutian, a resident of the Haredi city of Beitar Illit, who has been missing for nearly a month. This marks the second time the teenager has disappeared for an extended period. The police station in Etzion is appealing to the public for assistance in finding the "at-risk missing person." Tutian is described as having a thin build, standing approximately 1.70 meters tall, with short black hair, dark eyes, and wears glasses. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Etzion station at 02-6544444 or the national emergency number 100.

This is not the first time Tutian has gone missing. In early September, approximately two months ago, he was located in good condition after being missing for several weeks. At that time, he had left the "Beit HaNaar" boarding school in Ein Vered on a Saturday evening, July 18th, around 9:00 PM, and did not return. Police initiated a search and classified him as a runaway ward. Following his disappearance, the police appealed to the public for help, releasing his photo and description in hopes of receiving information from anyone who had seen him or knew of his location.

A police source told C14 that the disappearance was voluntary and that extensive efforts were made across the country during the weeks he was missing. These efforts included tracing his movements, contacting individuals he was associated with, and attempting to persuade him to return to his institution. He is now missing again for a prolonged period, prompting another public appeal from the police.
