Following a severe attack in Hebron, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the IDF will enter neighborhoods from which terrorists emerged, evacuate residents, and dismantle terror infrastructure. He stated that Israel is prepared for a broad operation in the West Bank, aiming to destroy and completely alter the areas used for terror. Netanyahu likened the planned operation to a successful model implemented in refugee camps, which he described as terror strongholds. The IDF will conduct house-to-house searches to find weapons and eliminate terror infrastructure.

Netanyahu announced a lockdown on the cities of Hebron and Dura, and indicated that this model might be expanded to other cities. He also committed to accelerating the removal of illegal structures along roads that pose a threat to Israeli forces. The Prime Minister mentioned that he and the Defense Minister have observed preparations for a large-scale IDF operation in the West Bank, unprecedented since the Six-Day War, and that its timing will be determined soon.

Addressing Israeli settlers, Netanyahu praised them as standing at the forefront and serving as an example to the nation. He pledged to destroy terror infrastructure while simultaneously building settlement infrastructure, citing plans for over one hundred new settlements and farms.
