A memorial pergola was inaugurated at "HaNekuda BaEmek" in the Benjamin region to honor Benyahu Malt, who was murdered in a terrorist attack before he could complete land preparation work on a nearby hill. His brother, Eliyahu Malt, is now continuing his endeavor. The inauguration took place during an emotional evening dedicated to the memory of Benyahu and in honor of Rachel the Matriarch, whose death anniversary falls on the 11th of Cheshvan.

"HaNekuda BaEmek," located near the village of Turmus Ayya, south of the Shilo bloc of hills, hosted the special event. The large pergola was erected in Benyahu's memory as part of ongoing development and commemoration efforts. Benyahu Malt had begun clearing land and paving a path to a nearby hill but was killed before finishing the project. His brother Eliyahu has now taken up the work.

During the event, one woman remarked that seeing Eliyahu working the land reminded her of Benyahu, making the moment particularly moving due to the brothers' resemblance and Eliyahu's continuation of his brother's path. Three families and several young women currently reside at "HaNekuda BaEmek," diligently maintaining the outpost daily out of love for the land and a desire to strengthen their hold on it.

The gathering, which included women and girls, featured singing, faith, and a connection to the land of Israel, driven by a longing for the region and a desire to bolster settlement, especially during these times. Singer Yahav Esther performed, leading the participants in emotional songs. The event was organized by the young women living in the area who dedicate their days to maintaining and developing the site.
