Avi Shoshan, a panelist on the Channel 14 program "HaPatriotim," announced his surprising intention to vote for Ofer Winter in the upcoming elections. Shoshan expressed support for Winter's party, "Am Israel," and stated that criticism and doubts about the party's chances of passing the electoral threshold would not change his decision.

Shoshan explained his stance during the broadcast, saying, "I wanted to vote for Winter from the start, I believe in Winter, I believe in Yosef Haddad, I believe in Netali Shem Tov. The first four on Winter's list are better than anyone in the second or third ten of any other party. So why? Because of all the spins they made for a month and a half and eliminated Winter here because they thought he wouldn't pass the electoral threshold, am I suddenly not going to follow my conscience?"

Furthermore, Shoshan expressed his desire to see Winter and Netali Shem Tov in the Knesset. He criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's treatment of the party leader, calling the attempts to harm Winter unjustified and seeing his decision to continue running as a sign of leadership. "Wow, I want Ofer Winter in the Knesset, I want Netali Shem Tov in the Knesset, and I think the Prime Minister is making a mistake by trying to eliminate a true right-wing man like this. What they did to Ofer Winter, the delegitimization, is terrible and awful. I'm reflecting a feeling of many Israelis. All credit to him for running to the end, it shows leadership. He doesn't give up," Shoshan added.
