Former Israeli soccer player Sahar Mizrahi, currently coaching for Hapoel Holon in Liga Bet, has been suspended for ten games with an additional twenty games suspended. The disciplinary judge, Shai Yishinobsky, imposed the penalty for racist and offensive behavior and insulting a referee. The judge determined Mizrahi had crossed a line.
The match referee, Ayelet Frig, daughter of Issawi Frig, reported that after awarding a penalty kick to Beitar Petah Tikva in the 92nd minute, Mizrahi entered the field and shouted at her, "You have no idea." According to the report, after receiving a red card, Mizrahi allegedly yelled, "Whore, slut, stinking Arab, I'm sick of these referees who have no idea, your mother's c***." The referee also noted that the Holon team manager prevented Mizrahi from approaching her as he raised his fist in her direction.
