Assayag stated that he himself plans to vote for the Likud party but strongly criticized Vinter's conduct and his refusal of Smotrich's offer.
Assayag praised Smotrich's performance as Finance Minister and his political experience, drawing a sharp contrast with Vinter, whom he described as a political novice who has yet to prove any ability beyond "arrogant, megalomaniacal babble." He urged right-wing voters considering Vinter to choose Smotrich instead, stating, "I am of course voting for Likud, but I suggest to any right-winger who intended to vote for Vinter, to vote for Smotrich, that way it will be the most just and correct."
Assayag also commented on left-wing voters who might consider voting for Vinter's party, mentioning Lali Deri and suggesting they should vote for Vinter, implying it benefits Deri's political goals.
