Yifat Ben-Haim Gilboa, a prosecution witness in Case 4000 against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stated in a radio interview that her testimony initially caused an "earthquake" in the trial. She described her account as the beginning of the "shattering" of Case 4000. Ben-Haim Gilboa, formerly the chairwoman of the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council, had previously changed her testimony from her police statements during the trial in favor of Netanyahu, leading the prosecution to request she be declared a hostile witness. The Supreme Court later disqualified her appointments.

Reflecting on her testimony given four years ago, Ben-Haim Gilboa said she initially called the system "amateurish and negligent," a statement that caused a stir at the time. She now feels she was "gentle and forgiving" with that assessment. During a 12-hour interrogation, she told investigators she had no personal interest in defending Netanyahu, stating her interest was the opposite, but she was committed to the truth, which was that "nothing happened."

Ben-Haim Gilboa also commented on a report by prosecutor Amit Haddad alleging a problematic statement by former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to prosecutor Yehudit Tirosh regarding the circumstances of the indictment. She described the ensuing courtroom exchange, where Tirosh objected and Mandelblit spoke, as beyond imagination. The judges requested a recess to decide on the objection. Ben-Haim Gilboa asserted that the event revealed a "fully political prosecution" that was "mobilized for political purposes," noting that the prosecution did not deny the allegations. She believes the judges were as shocked as the observers in the courtroom.
