The "Sail" Tower, a prominent government skyscraper in Haifa also known as the "Rocket," has fully resumed operations one year after sustaining direct damage from an Iranian missile strike. The attack forced emergency services to evacuate the building. Construction crews have since completed repairs, allowing civil servants to return to their workplaces.

Key government ministries, including Justice, Education, Interior, and Health, have moved back into the tower. Concurrently, a significant agreement was signed to extend the lease for these premises by an additional 16 years, as reported by Channel 14.

The building's owners, the Nazarian family, have finished the initial restoration of the structure and facade. They have announced plans to invest an additional 100 million shekels (approximately $27 million) in the complex's technical modernization. This upgrade will involve replacing ventilation and air conditioning systems, installing new high-speed elevators, and implementing advanced fire suppression and access control systems.

Dr. Sharon Nazarian, a co-owner, stated that the tower's recovery symbolizes the resilience of Israel. She expressed the owners' unwavering belief in the swift return of occupants and viewed the restoration as a testament to confidence in Haifa's security and development. Mayor Yona Yahav described the complex's relaunch as a pivotal event for the city, anticipating that the return of hundreds of officials and citizens will invigorate local business and trade, solidifying the area's status as a key administrative hub. The long-term government contract is seen by the municipality as a direct affirmation of the city's promising future.
