A man, approximately 50 years old, was evacuated in critical condition to Kaplan Hospital after apparently suffering severe smoke inhalation in his home in Kiryat Ekron on Tuesday. Firefighters rescued the unconscious man from the house, finding him without a pulse or breathing. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics and EMTs who arrived at the scene immediately began extensive resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and medication, to stabilize his condition before transporting him to the hospital.

MDA paramedic Eliyahu Ronen and motorcycle unit paramedic Eden Sinai described the scene, stating, "When we arrived, we met with the fire forces who brought out a man from the house, about 50 years old, unconscious, without a pulse and breathing, after he apparently inhaled a lot of smoke. We performed life-saving resuscitation efforts including compressions, ventilation, and medication, and evacuated him while continuing resuscitation to the hospital."
