Air Seychelles and Condor Plan to Resume Flights to Israel This August

Air Seychelles announced it will resume direct flights between Tel Aviv and Mahé starting August 20, after previously postponing its return from June 30 due to regional security concerns. The airline will operate one weekly flight each way, departing Tel Aviv on Thursdays at 4:50 AM and arriving in Mahé at 12:10 PM, with the return flight leaving Mahé on Wednesdays at 9:30 PM and landing in Israel at 2:50 AM. Flights will be on Airbus A320 aircraft offering economy and business classes, including meals and 30 kg baggage allowance. Passengers can also connect onward to Mauritius or use internal flights to Praslin Island.

Meanwhile, German airline Condor announced plans to restart flights from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv in August, contingent on geopolitical developments. Condor appointed TAL Aviation as its exclusive sales representative in Israel. The airline highlighted that passengers from Israel will have access to numerous destinations across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Indian Ocean region via Frankfurt. Condor, which began flights to Israel in 1956, currently operates a fleet of about 60 aircraft serving over 70 global destinations. In 2024, it upgraded its long-haul fleet with Airbus A330neo planes and is in the process of renewing its short- and medium-haul fleet over the coming years.
