Iranian citizens speaking to N12 describe heightened military activity and public unease within the country, fueled by fears of a potential third war. Residents report that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is evacuating bases, moving weapons, and issuing mobilization orders for Basij militia members. "Almost everyone knows the third war is coming," said Alireza from Mashhad, noting the dire economic situation prevents citizens from stockpiling food, while the IRGC appears to be preparing.

According to Amirhossein, a Tehran resident, military and IRGC personnel's apartments are being evacuated, and weapons are being removed from urban bases to prevent them from falling into public hands. Increased checkpoints have reappeared in cities, and Basij members are being paid to appear in public with regime flags, seemingly to project an image of support.

Both citizens expressed a deep distrust of the regime, with Alireza stating that increased executions are used to intimidate the public, but that fear has been overcome. Amirhossein added that executions have become routine, and Iranians are no longer afraid of such threats, viewing the Islamic Republic itself as the primary threat.

The citizens also conveyed a message to U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to dismantle the Ayatollah regime and the IRGC permanently, rather than engaging in negotiations that they believe only serve to prolong the regime's existence and allow it to reintroduce chaos to the Middle East.

They believe that a strike against the regime's security apparatus could create an opportunity for an uprising, but public participation depends on external support and favorable conditions. "If a war starts and the public receives support, we will send the Revolutionary Guards to hell," Amirhossein stated, adding that widespread protests would erupt if people had access to the internet and weapons.
