Actress Sydney Sweeney recently enjoyed a day out at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles disguised with a brunette wig and sunglasses. The 29-year-old star, typically known for her blonde hair, opted for the disguise to experience the attractions like a regular tourist alongside her best friend, Jadey Hafner. Sweeney shared photos on Instagram from their outing, which included riding a roller coaster, playing video games, getting caricatures drawn, and enjoying snacks like onion rings and fries. She captioned the post, "When your best friend comes over and is like, 'Here, put on this wig.'" Sweeney dressed casually in an "Santa Monica" oversized shirt, denim shorts, and sneakers, a stark contrast to her usual designer attire.
This outing comes shortly after a controversial advertisement for the betting app Novig, featuring Sweeney with exposed chest and buttocks, drew criticism. The actress appears to be ignoring the backlash.
Sweeney's boyfriend of one year, American-Jewish businessman Scooter Braun, was not present during the pier visit. However, reports indicate their relationship is serious, with speculation that Sweeney may undergo full conversion to Judaism for a future marriage and family with Braun. Sources suggest Sweeney has met with rabbis to begin the conversion process, which could take one to four years, while others close to the couple claim Braun is determined to propose within the next six months.
