בור מים עתיק ויפהפה, המכונה "מצפה אש"ש", עבר לאחרונה שיפוץ בדרום הר חברון. במקום הוקמה פינת נוי עם צמחייה וספסל נדנדה, ומהמצפה נשקפת תצפית רחבה. גולת הכותרת של המקום היא בור המים עצמו, ששופץ ומולא במים צלולים בעומק של כמטר וחצי, והוא מהווה אטרקציה למטיילים.
