Italian Police Uncover Neo-Nazi Terror Network of Minors

Italian security forces on Friday raided the homes of 17 suspects across the country, including 14 minors, who are allegedly involved in an online terror network of far-right extremists advocating white supremacy. The detainees are suspected of incitement, racist propaganda, and training for terrorist activities. According to the investigation, network members made specific threats to carry out attacks on a mosque, a synagogue, and a school, while also engaging in Holocaust denial and calling for "mass zeroing." The operation was conducted through two main groups. The first, "New European Order Chat," was used to disseminate propaganda, antisemitic messages, and manifestos of mass shooters like Anders Breivik. The second group, "Italian Fascist Front," operated with a strict hierarchy on the Telegram app. Its founder held the title "Supreme Commander," and members recruited via an application form received ranks such as "Secretary," "Blackshirt," and "SS Second Lieutenant," referring to each other as "comrades."

Investigators deemed the organization a real threat after discovering detailed guides within the groups on how to build homemade explosives and instructions for using firearms and bladed weapons, alongside execution videos of minorities and propaganda materials from the American organization "The Base." Knives, bladed weapons, Nazi flags and symbols, as well as the computers and phones used to distribute the content, were seized during the raids on the suspects' homes.
