משטרת ישראל עצרה שני קטינים, בני 14 ו-15 מבני ברק, בחשד שתקפו עובד זר ברמת גן באמצעות גז פלפל. החקירה החלה בעקבות דיווח שהתקבל וסרטונים שהופצו ברשתות החברתיות ותיעדו את האירוע.

בתום חקירתם, שוחררו הקטינים למעצר בית בתנאים מגבילים. החקירה בנושא נמשכת.
