Two Youths Arrested in Ramat Hasharon Assault Investigation
Police in Ramat Hasharon arrested two young men, aged 18 and 21, on Wednesday on suspicion of involvement in a severe assault on an individual at a kiosk in the city center. The victim required medical attention following the attack.
The incident occurred on the evening of August 31. Police received a report of an assault at a kiosk, and officers from the Glilot station responded, collecting evidence and investigating the circumstances. Investigators identified two suspects and obtained arrest warrants.
Detectives from the Glilot station, along with Border Police officers from Tel Aviv, apprehended the suspects: a 21-year-old resident of Ramat Hasharon and an 18-year-old resident of Or Yehuda. Both were taken to the Glilot station for questioning and subsequently detained.
The police are expected to bring the suspects before a judge on Thursday to request an extension of their detention. The investigation is ongoing.
