Iran Claims US, Regional Allies Agreed to Renew War Against It

Iran's armed forces headquarters claims to possess intelligence indicating the United States has decided to resume military actions against the Islamic Republic. According to the announcement, this decision was made during a meeting in Europe with the "green light" from several Middle Eastern countries. The Iranian military warned that any aggressive action by the U.S. would result in "painful and unlimited attacks against all U.S. bases and interests."

Furthermore, Iranian officials directly addressed neighboring countries, cautioning them against maintaining a "double policy" and siding with Washington. They stated that such nations would be considered full partners in any aggression and could no longer expect restraint from Iran's armed forces. The head of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, also declared that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until Tehran's conditions are met.

In parallel, Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Mohsen Rezai, indicated that Tehran desires an end to the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. He stated that Iran has conveyed its terms for ending the war to the U.S. via Qatar and is awaiting President Trump's response. Rezai reaffirmed Iran's commitment to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's fatwa against nuclear weapons and stated that the country's nuclear doctrine remains unchanged.

Meanwhile, the U.S. administration issued an urgent warning to its citizens, advising them to reconsider travel to the Middle East due to a complex security situation and the potential for rapid escalation. The White House also warned of targeted security threats, particularly from Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, and the possibility of attacks on American diplomatic facilities and businesses worldwide.

President Donald Trump told Channel 12 News that he faces a "big decision" regarding a potential large-scale war with Iran. He indicated he would consult with U.S. allies in the region before deciding on the next step, stating, "Anything can happen." Trump also mentioned he might meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Earlier in August, Trump refrained from extensive military action after Saudi Arabia and Qatar expressed concerns about Iranian retaliation against their oil and gas facilities. Since then, he has adopted a more moderate approach, suspending negotiations with Tehran, imposing new economic sanctions, and continuing a naval blockade of Iranian ports to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and increase global oil flow. Trump expressed satisfaction with the blockade, claiming no ships have reached Iran since its inception.
