Stage-Painted Outfit Sells for $2,200, with Proceeds Donated to Charity

Clothing worn by musician Yoeli Dickman, after being artistically painted on stage by singer Lipa Schmeltzer, sold at auction for $2,200. The full amount was donated to charity, turning a spontaneous moment from a live performance into a fundraising gesture.

The episode took place during the album launch concert for singer Shmulik Klein at Jerusalem’s Binyanei HaUma. Schmeltzer, who was part of the event, decided during the show to paint Dickman’s clothes as an onstage artistic act, and those same garments later became the auction item.

Dickman is a well-known composer and musical arranger in the haredi music scene and has worked with leading artists. The article noted that he composed and produced the song “Nitai HaArbli” for Klein’s debut album and also worked on the vocal version of “Shetargilenu” from that album.

Dickman also collaborated with singer Kobi Brummer on a special medley of Mordechai Ben David hits. The article said Schmeltzer is currently active on several fronts, including a new single called “Shabtaramp” tied to Donald Trump’s declaration of a “national Sabbath,” and a recent video he posted denying false rumors about his engagement.
