במבצע רחב היקף בטורקיה נעצרו 201 חשודים כחלק מפירוק רשת הונאות מט"ח בינלאומית, כאשר תשעה מהעצורים הם אזרחים ישראלים. שר המשפטים הטורקי, אקין גורלוק, מסר כי הרשת פעלה תחת מסווה של חברות "מוקדי שירות" ופיתתה אזרחים ממדינות שונות להשקיע כספים בהשקעות פיקטיביות במטבעות וירטואליים ובפורקס.

משרד החוץ הישראלי אישר את הדיווחים על מעצרם של ישראלים בפרשה, והוסיף כי הנושא נמצא בבדיקה של המשרד.
