Channel 12 journalist sparks backlash with harsh attack on the government
Channel 12 journalist Michal Pa'alin triggered an online סערה over the past day after delivering an unusually blunt criticism of the government during a live studio broadcast. Speaking on air, she said, “This is a government that urinates on its soldiers, urinates on its citizens, and does not even try to convince them that it is rain.”
Pa'alin then added, “Sorry for the language,” and continued, “The government says we are urinating on them from the diving board, swallow it and good luck.” The remarks spread quickly on social media and drew sharp reactions.
