מועדון הכדורגל מכבי תל אביב הודיע כי אין בכוונתו לשלם את הקנס שהוטל עליו בסך 10,000 שקלים. הקנס הוטל בעקבות חגיגת שער של השחקן אושר דוידה במהלך הדרבי נגד הפועל תל אביב, בה ביצע תנועת "פיו פיו".

ההודעה על סירוב התשלום נמסרה במכתב חריף שנשלח ליו"ר מנהלת הליגה, ארז כלפון. במכבי תל אביב מביעים זעם רב על החלטת המנהלת להטיל את הקנס, ורואים בהחלטה זו כצעד חסר הצדקה.
