Iran said the United States bears direct responsibility for what it called Israel’s “crimes in Lebanon.” In a statement, Tehran warned that it would “take all necessary measures” to protect its own interests, security, and rights, as well as those of its allies.
The brief statement did not provide details about specific incidents in Lebanon or name any further steps Iran might take. It framed Washington as directly accountable for Israeli actions and presented the warning as a broader defense of Iranian and allied interests.
