בית דין רבני בבני ברק פסק באופן תקדימי כי נהגי הסעות המשתמשים בטלפון נייד בזמן נהיגה מסכנים חיים. הדיינים קבעו כי כל אדם שיבחין בנהג כזה, מחויב להתרות בו. אם הנהג לא יחדל ממעשיו, על האזרח לפעול לשלילת רישיונו.
