צה"ל פרסם תיעוד של תקיפה לילית ברכס עלי א-טאהר שבדרום לבנון, הכולל חיסול מחבל בפיר וכן השמדת מתחם מנהרות. התיעוד מגיע לאחר שחזבאללה השתמש בפרסומים קודמים של גלי צה"ל כדי לחזק את הנרטיב על "לוחמיו הגיבורים שלא נכנעו" והחזיקו מעמד באזור.

במקביל, צה"ל הודיע על חיסולו של ג'יהאד אסמאעיל בחאן יונס, פעיל צבאי שלטענת מקורות עזתיים חצה לשטח ישראל ב-7 באוקטובר. הדיווחים על התקיפות והחיסולים מגיעים על רקע מתיחות מתמשכת בגבול הצפון ודיווחים על פגיעות כלכליות משמעותיות במדינות האזור כתוצאה מהמלחמה.
