First International Magic Festival Comes to Kiryat Gat for Sukkot

Kiryat Gat Municipality and the community center network will host the city's first international magic and illusion festival during the intermediate days of Sukkot, September 28-29. This two-day "flagship" event aims to provide a variety of shows, workshops, and family-friendly activities, featuring artists from Israel and abroad.

The festival will span several key locations within the city, including the Culture Hall, Beit Rachel Ve'Yisrael Pollak, and the Edith Amphitheater for Youth. The program includes dozens of free open-air street performances, fire shows, living statue exhibits, parades of magical characters, creative workshops, and interactive magic sessions for children and teenagers.

Featured performers will include illusionists and mentalists Hezi Dean and Shahar Livneh. Most outdoor events and street shows will be free of charge for the public. Major indoor performances will be offered at a subsidized price of 10 to 20 shekels per ticket. The community center network has opened advance ticket sales, inviting residents of the city and surrounding areas to participate.
