משרד הבריאות הודיע היום (יום שלישי) על זיהום חמור במי הים בחוף כפר ים, הסמוך לשכונת גבעת אולגה בעיר חדרה. על פי הודעת המשרד, קיים חשש כי זיהום זה נגרם כתוצאה מהזרמת שפכים אל הים.

בעקבות הממצאים, משרד הבריאות ממליץ בחום להימנע מכניסה למים בחוף זה, וזאת עד לקבלת הודעה חדשה שתבטל את האזהרה. המשרד מדגיש כי הרחצה בים מותרת אך ורק בחופים המוכרזים והמסודרים, המפוקחים באופן שוטף.
