צה"ל ביצע אתמול (יום ד') תקיפה מתוכננת ברצועת עזה נגד מחבל פעיל בזרוע הצבאית של חמאס. במהלך התקיפה, זוהתה התקהלות של אזרחים בסמוך למטרה. בשל העובדה שלא ניתן היה לבטל את החימוש לאחר שהוטל, הוחלט להסיט אותו ממסלולו בזמן אמת, על מנת למנוע פגיעה באזרחים. דובר צה"ל הדגיש כי האירוע מדגים את מחויבות צה"ל להבחין בין מחבלים לאזרחים ולנקוט בכל אמצעי הזהירות האפשריים.
