Thousands of Sanz Hasidim Pledge Tech Abstinence in Netanya
Thousands of Sanz Hasidim gathered in Netanya's Great Beit Midrash in Kiryat Sanz before dawn to recite the first Selichot prayers, marking the beginning of the penitential period leading up to the High Holy Days. A large tent complex was erected for the occasion, equipped with hot water urns and cold drink dispensers to accommodate the massive crowd during breaks between prayers.
