Israeli football club Bnei Sakhnin has had a significant 24 hours, securing the signing of defender Uri Dahan and acquiring Romanian midfielder Antonio Sefer on loan. Sefer joins from Bnei Reineh until the end of the season, marking his third club in Israel after a previous stint with Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
Dahan arrived for his first training session with Sakhnin on Tuesday, but was initially unable to participate as the transfer agreement was not yet finalized. His move to Sakhnin comes as a replacement for defender Dimitri Kabbara, who has been sidelined for the remainder of the season due to injury.
The transfer of Dahan was contingent on him not playing against his former team, Beitar Jerusalem, in their upcoming Monday match. Bnei Sakhnin agreed to this condition, meaning Dahan's debut for his new club will be postponed to the following week.
Bnei Sakhnin is optimistic that Sefer's integration into the team will be smoother due to the presence of two other Romanian players, Raul Albarao and Daniel Parsky, who recently joined the club. This camaraderie is expected to aid both Sefer and the recently acquired forward.
