Hundreds of educators gathered at the “Sowing a Future” conference held by KKL and the HaHistadrut HaHalutza in Acre to discuss the future of the north, and presented dozens of educational and community initiatives to strengthen resilience, settlement and community in the border-area communities.

The conference addressed how to bring life back to the north through education, community and local action. At the opening, KKL Chairman Eyal Ostrinsky said, “The rebuilding and growth of the north begin in the community. The educators working in the field are a leading force in building resilience, strengthening the sense of belonging, and nurturing the next generation.”
