Yosef Israel Departs Channel 13 After Decade as Foreign Correspondent

Yosef Israel, the foreign correspondent for Israel's Channel 13 News, is leaving the network after ten years of service. In an emotional post on X, formerly Twitter, Israel bid farewell to his colleagues, stating, "Today is my last day at Channel 13. News 10/13 has been my professional home for over a decade, and I love this place very much."

Israel, who has held various roles since October 2015, expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him, including managers, editors, reporters, producers, cameramen, and video editors. He specifically thanked the "excellent foreign desk staff," acknowledging their contributions. He assured his followers that he is not disappearing, stating, "I am not disappearing anywhere, I will stay here."

Looking ahead, Israel indicated his anticipation for new professional and personal challenges. He began his media career in 2014 as an editor for the digital platforms of nana10 and News 10, later moving to the foreign desk. Since 2020, he has served as the foreign correspondent and presented news broadcasts for Channel 13.

Israel was born in 1988 in Karnei Shomron and grew up in Beersheba and Susya. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter in his career at the prominent Israeli news channel.
