Hebron Police Station Evacuated Over Suspect Device Found on Arab Detainee
The police station in Hebron was evacuated earlier today after suspicious items were discovered in the possession of an Arab detainee brought in for questioning by IDF soldiers. During a search of the detainee and his belongings at the Hebron station, officers found several items connected to batteries, fuses, and mobile phones.
Following this unusual discovery, authorities decided to evacuate the station. A police sapper was called to the scene to examine the items. After thorough inspection, the sapper determined that the objects were not an explosive device but rather a pyrotechnic device with a delay system attached.
The suspicious items were taken for further professional handling, and the police are continuing to investigate the incident. The detainee had been brought to the station for questioning by IDF soldiers prior to the discovery.
