Heatwave Peaks Wednesday, With Relief Expected by Weekend
Israel is set to experience the peak of a heatwave on Wednesday, with temperatures rising across the country, particularly in mountainous and inland areas, leading to heavier heat load.
The weather is expected to be fair after morning clouds dissipate. Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy.
On Thursday, the heat will slightly decrease, especially in the mountains and inland, but temperatures will remain a bit higher than the seasonal average. Friday will bring a further slight drop in temperatures, with heat load easing and temperatures returning to seasonal norms, just in time for the weekend.
Temperatures forecast for Wednesday and overnight include Jerusalem (18-28°C), Tel Aviv (24-30°C), Be'er Sheva (21-32°C), Haifa (23-31°C), Tiberias (22-34°C), Tzfat (17-27°C), and Eilat (28-36°C).
