This initiative allows eligible students and educators to download and install the full Office package, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams, on up to five devices per user. The license is valid as long as the user remains within the education system.

The program aims to alleviate the financial burden of software purchases for families, especially with the start of the academic year. Students can access the service by logging into the dedicated "Office for Every Student" portal using their unified Ministry of Education credentials. Teachers and educators have a parallel pathway through the Educator Portal.

For university and college students, access to free Office software varies by institution. While some, like Tel Aviv University, offer it to active students, others may have different terms or have discontinued the benefit. Students are advised to check directly with their respective academic institutions.

Installation is straightforward, with instructions provided for both Windows and Mac operating systems. Users are guided to log in with their Ministry of Education account to activate the license. The Ministry also offers support for forgotten passwords and technical issues via a dedicated hotline.

It is important to note that this educational license is tied to the user's status within the education system and is not a permanent personal subscription. Upon leaving the system, access may be limited. Users are cautioned not to rely solely on this account for storing critical files.
