Hapoel Be'er Sheva is on the verge of signing defender Idan Nahmias, who is expected to finalize his move to the club on Monday. The 29-year-old Israeli player, currently in the country, will join from Ludogorets and is set to sign a two-year contract with an option for an additional season, earning approximately 250,000 euros per year. Nahmias is intended to bolster the central defense under coach Ran Kochav.
However, the club faces difficulties in negotiations with Brazilian player Alan, and his arrival before Wednesday night's deadline for Europa League registration remains uncertain. Hapoel Be'er Sheva is determined to sign a foreign attacking midfielder before this deadline to strengthen the squad for their European campaign.
In parallel, the club is working to secure the future of key players. A recent meeting regarding midfielder Eliel Peretz was described as positive, but a contract extension is not yet close to being finalized, despite ongoing discussions. Meanwhile, Guy Mizrahi, who is seeking to play abroad, is unlikely to sign a new contract beyond his current two-year deal.
