Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder Dan Biton has returned to running training, signaling progress in his comeback bid after an absence of over six months. Biton conducted running drills on Sunday, documented by teammate Eliel Peretz on Instagram. The player is gradually regaining fitness with the goal of returning to the field this season.

Biton has been sidelined since February after Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced he was suffering from viral inflammation in the heart region, requiring rest on medical advice. He missed the remainder of the 2025/26 season and the start of the current season. His last match was on February 22, a 1-1 draw against Hapoel Haifa. The announcement of his condition came during a break necessitated by the war with Iran.

These recent training sessions suggest Biton's return to play is drawing nearer.
