Maccabi Haifa is set to face Maccabi Tel Aviv in an away match at Bloomfield Stadium on Monday at 20:30. The team aims to build on their positive momentum following a 2-1 league victory over Hapoel Ramat Gan in the season opener. The coaching and medical staff have confirmed that striker Guy Melamed will miss the match due to a calf muscle injury, prioritizing his recovery and avoiding risk.

Coach Barak Bachar is expected to maintain the same starting lineup that played against Ramat Gan, with the defensive line composed of four foreign players: Tsunami, Yila Betay, Pedro, and Nigel Lonwijk. In midfield, Ali Mohamed might be considered, but currently, Yarin Levi and Eitan Azoulay are favored to start alongside Bronninio, who impressed in the opening game by scoring twice and is seen as a key player for the team.

Approximately 2,800 tickets have been allocated for Maccabi Haifa supporters, who will be seated in sections 4-5 at Bloomfield. However, the fan organization "The Green Monkeys" announced that the Tel Aviv police have imposed a complete ban on bringing any fan displays or decorations into the Maccabi Haifa supporters' section for this match.
