Satmar Rebbe's Silver Heirlooms Distributed in Second Historic Lottery in Monsey

In Monsey, New York, the second phase of the inheritance lottery for the late Satmar Rebbe, the 'Brach Moshe,' concluded on Thursday. This historic event took place at the home of the Satmar community leader Rabbi Lipa Friedman, with the participation of the Rebbe's grandchildren and the community's gabbais, who conducted the lottery with great reverence and order. Unlike the first phase, which included only the Rebbe's four sons, this round also involved his three daughters, allowing all seven heirs to participate.

The lottery focused on distributing the silver ceremonial items, royal and ancient artifacts passed down through generations, valued at millions of dollars.
