Beitar Jerusalem is preparing for its upcoming match against Maccabi Netanya at Bloomfield Stadium on Saturday. The club's focus is on midfielder Yarden Shua, who left training on Wednesday due to an ankle injury and is attempting to complete a full training session. Despite showing signs of recovery, Shua still experiences pain, and the club will try to clear him for the game without risking his health ahead of Thursday's match against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Forward Sean Weissman is expected to be available for coach Almog Cohen, while left-back Yarden Cohen will be absent.

Central defender Luka Gadrani is set to start in the lineup and is close to finalizing a new contract with Beitar Jerusalem. Gadrani had requested a contract upgrade earlier this summer and expressed his desire to continue with the team. He is highly valued at the club, and the new deal will secure his stay for the coming years. Additionally, Brian Carvalho is also expected to receive a contract upgrade soon.
