Benjamin Regional Council Hosts Summer Finale with Idan Amadi, Ben Zur, and Soldier Tributes

Approximately 6,500 residents of the Benjamin Regional Council gathered at the Sultan Pool in Jerusalem for the council's summer closing event. The evening featured musical performances by singers Idan Amadi and Ben Zur, alongside special tributes to soldiers and war casualties from the community.

During the event, Ben Zur invited MMA fighter Ahavat Hashem Gordon, a resident of Shiloh and the inspiration behind the hit song "Ahavat Hashem," to join him on stage. Gordon appeared with his wife Oren Levy, just one day after their wedding, and together with Ben Zur, they performed the song before the large audience.

Earlier in the evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his wife Sarah, and Benjamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz presented unique boxing gloves bearing the council's emblem to Ahavat Hashem and his brother, Kivdi, and to another figure named Ruach Hashem. A significant portion of the event was dedicated to honoring wounded soldiers from the council, including Yossi Karsenti, Harel Tangy, and Ron Bongar, whose stories were featured in a special video. The three wounded veterans appeared on stage with their families and rehabilitation supporters to applause from the crowd.

Idan Amadi then performed the main musical set of the night. Israel Gantz, who also serves as chairman of the Yesha Council, addressed attendees, stating, "Benjamin is breaking new ground, and we are only at the beginning. We will continue with full strength to make Benjamin the best place to live in Israel." He added, "May we see all our wounded soldiers return to health, our troops come home safely, and together continue to build, grow, and break new ground."
