West Benjamin Residents Celebrate Opening of New Telmonim Amphitheater with Ishay Ribo Concert

The new Telmonim Amphitheater in West Benjamin was inaugurated on Tuesday night with a performance by singer Ishay Ribo, attracting a large and enthusiastic crowd. Ribo expressed his excitement about being the first to perform at the venue, hoping it would host many more events in the future. Nitzan Engel, the culture director of the Benjamin Regional Council, highlighted the three years of work invested in building the amphitheater and emphasized its importance as a cultural and leisure hub for residents, comparing it to the famous amphitheaters in Caesarea and Shuni. She stressed that residents of Benjamin deserve access to high-quality cultural events as part of the broader Israeli community.

Or Reichert, a resident of Dolev who attended the event, praised the council for its efforts, anticipating many enjoyable cultural events and performances at the new venue. Israel Gantz, head of the Benjamin Regional Council, stated that after years focused on settlement and infrastructure development, the region is now advancing in cultural offerings. He promised many upcoming events this summer that would attract audiences from across Israel. Gantz also revealed plans for another amphitheater in Shilo, alongside development of the archaeological site there, aiming to make Benjamin a leading cultural center in the country.
